Das Flaggen-Problem ist gelöst.
Das Thumbnail-Problem leider nur durch NextGen, wobei ich es lieber direkt im Theme gelöst hätte.

Vielen Dank für den schnellen Support!

Thanks for your reply.
I followed your instructions, but it didn`t work.

In the code you posted, the size in line 49 in 36x36 px, but the thumbnails default size in the theme is 80 x80.

Yes, you can deactivate the crop feature - i.e. compare the code line above:

$avia_config['imgSize']['fullsize'] 		 	= array('width'=>930, 'height'=>930, 'crop'=>false);

if you add 'crop'=>false to the image size wordpress will not change the aspect ratio.

Hi Ismael

If I define the sizes according to your suggestion - what will happen to vertical and square images?
Is there a way to make sure that vertical and square images are treated the same way as horizontal images (retaining the aspect ratio of the original image)?

Example:
- horizontal image: 300 x 200 px (3:2)
- vertical image: 200 x 300 px (2:3)
- square image: 300 x 300 px (1:1)

The aspect ratio of my images I upload is always either 2:3 , 3:2 or 1:1

Thanks

Hi handmadecalcare,

I don't think it can be changed by using that plugin, I suggest you open this folder: wp-content > themes > coherence. Open functions.php and find this code block (line 49):

$avia_config['imgSize']['widget'] 			 	= array('width'=>36,  'height'=>36 );						// small preview pics eg sidebar news
$avia_config['imgSize']['slider_thumb'] 		= array('width'=>70,  'height'=>50 , 'copy'=>'greyscale');	// slideshow preview pics
$avia_config['imgSize']['fullsize'] 		 	= array('width'=>930, 'height'=>930, 'crop'=>false);		// big images for lightbox and portfolio single entries
$avia_config['imgSize']['featured'] 		 	= array('width'=>990, 'height'=>360 );						// images for fullsize pages and fullsize slider
$avia_config['imgSize']['portfolio'] 		 	= array('width'=>448, 'height'=>330, 'copy'=>'greyscale');	// images for portfolio entries (2,3 column)

//dynamic columns
$avia_config['imgSize']['dynamic_1'] 		 	= array('width'=>430, 'height'=>138);						// images for 2/4 (aka 1/2) dynamic portfolio columns when using 3 columns
$avia_config['imgSize']['dynamic_2'] 		 	= array('width'=>593, 'height'=>204);						// images for 2/3 dynamic portfolio columns
$avia_config['imgSize']['dynamic_3'] 		 	= array('width'=>672, 'height'=>138);						// images for 3/4 dynamic portfolio columns

The height and width of the images are defined there. Just change the width and height and save the file. Then use the Regenerate Thumbnails plugin to regenereate the images. Hope this helps. :)

Hello,

is there a possibility to change the size of the thumbnails, using wordpress gallery?

I changed the size of the thumbnails in wordpress itself and used the resize-thumbnails plugin, but the size of the thumbs didn't change.

Just to be sure, the css above fixed the flag issue for you?

If you just want to use a widget in the header area, you'll need to add a new widget area to the header.php in the spot where you want it. In this case, right before the social media icons are created which just after this line:

do_action('avia_meta_header');

You can follow a tutorial like this one to create the widget area: http://www.tips4developer.com/wordpress/wordpress-create-custom-widget-area/

It will still need to be styled depending on what content you add to the area but you can add all the css to the custom.css file in the css folder of your theme files.

Regards,

I apologize for the delay in the response, not typical of our support so don't expect that to happen again :)

Try adding the following CSS to your Quick CSS (located under the Styling Tab in the theme options) or the custom.css file in the css folder of your theme files:

#top .social_bookmarks {
    right: 50px;
    padding-right: 10px;
}
@media only screen and (max-width: 767px) { #top .social_bookmarks {right: 0px;} }

.avia_wpml_language_switch {
    top: 12px;
}

I'll send the change to Kriesi as well so that it can be included in the next theme update.

1. Hi, I got Incarnation yesterday I love this theme, but for some reason the WPML Flags are in top of the Social Icons in the header.

2. In the iPad you can't figer click in the images in homepage Columns. I see them working fine in the iMac but they dont do anything in the iPad, I just see the slideshow rotation but theres no finger click working.

Can you please help me in fixing that?
