Hi,

You can add this on your custom.css or Quick CSS.

.cloud-zoom-big {
height: 400px !important;
}

Thank you for the wonderful themes to play with.

I have a client for whom i'm building a jewelry site. She has a long of long earrings and has asked me "Is there a way to get the magnifier to create the magnified image in a larger box? Right now it is slim rectangle above the product description, but I don't think that will be enough room to see long earrings especially. "

What she wants is for the magnifier (hover zoom) to be longer and show more of the image when zooming. It seems though that the size of the magnifier is dynamically generated.

Is this possible to do? If so can you point me to the code that would need to be altered?

Thank you.

Thank you

Afaik this is a bug with the google maps iframes and tabs (see http://www.kriesi.at/support/topic/google-map-issue-with-shortcode-tabs ). I guess the only solution is to use the map in the first tab (the tab content is not hidden by default) or to use it outside of tabs. I'll mark this thread for Kriesi.

Hi,

It should work. Try to go to google map again. Enter your address. Right click the marker of your location then click "What's Here". The coordinates (latitude and longtitude) will automatically pop up. Fill up the google map widget with the coordinates. Zoom lvl 1 is world view.

I have created a widget with good maps in it, to place on our contact site. However the zoom level doesn´t change...it´s always to close, no matter if i set it at 5 or 15. It seems like it zooms in instantly.

Hi jen_design,

For each product with Abundance you can choose either Lightbox or Zoom from the Product Images meta box on the right hand side of the visual editor.

If you still are looking to combine them, you would need to find a plugin or hire a freelance developer to do that within the theme files.

Hi Dude / Peter -

Okay I take back the getting rid of prettyphoto lightbox. I want it.

I installed cloud zoom, and the lightbox feature is not working.

I don't want to use the cloud zoom pro that includes that because the customizations are too hard for my client to use when I pass the site to him to maintain.

I want cloud zoom to work and have pretty photo lightbox to work with it. Right now there is no lightbox. (I never disabled pretty photo light box by the way.) Here is a link: http://173.254.28.21/~jewelrz8/site/product/4-01-carat-pear-shape-natural-black-diamond-engagement-ring-14k-white-gold/

Is there a way to figure out how to get a lightbox to pop up?

Hi,
If you want to remove the default prettyphoto lightbox effect open up wp-content\themes\abundance\js\avia.js and delete:

//activates the prettyphoto lightbox
	if(jQuery.fn.avia_activate_lightbox)
	jQuery('body').avia_activate_lightbox();

If you want to remove the zoom effect open up wp-content\themes\abundance\woocommerce-config\woocommerce-mod.js and delete:

avia_cloud_zoom('.cloudzoom_active .images>a', '.cloudzoom_active .thumbnails');

Btw - you can also try: WooCommerce Cloud Zoom which works with Replete (I didn' test it with Abundance though).

Hi,

I want the lightbox and zoom to be combined, and abundance pretty photo doesn't provide this. I installed zwoom plugin as it combines the lightbox with the zoom, in one box (rather than the zoom popping out in a new box on the side)

pretty box is making it so the "zwoom" plugin doesn't work. Can you help me disable pretty box and zooms altogether so I can use this plugin?

Hi There, my client has requested we remove the magnifier on the slideshow. I can see by studying the rendered html that the a wraps the entire image, so I cannot use CSS to hide it. Is there another way to turn it off? I cannot locate a setting.

I would rather not do this programmatically for the sake of code being broken at update time. However, I'm not afraid to get my hands dirty in the code if this is the only solution. Please advise.

I asked the same question (support staff from zoom plugin) and got following answer:

Hi,

There are 2 options if you want to use zoom effect only.

1. Use Magic Zoom instead of Magic Zoom Plus.

2. On Magic Zoom Plus plugin settings page just set the 'Use effect on product
page' parameter to 'Zoom'.

Best regards,

Hi markjoseph7,

In the new image editor for wordpress you have the option of linking an image to its attachment page, its Media File or a Custom URL. You need to make sure the option is selected for Media File for each image when inserting an image into the visual editor so that the lightbox effect can pick it up.

Regards,

I guess the magnifying effect is lightbox. How do I add the lightbox effect to all of my images. And I would also like to have it so that when I click on the image it does the lightbox effect on the attachment image I have set up. It's doing it on a few images but I can't get it to do it on all of them.

Hi there,

I have a few images that are linked to another image. When I hover over some of the images the magnifying glass comes on and when I click it opens the attachment in a zoom window.

However, I would like it so that ALL of the images open this way.

How do I take an image that opens the attachment in a separate page to open with the magnifying zoom effect?

Hi!

I tested: Magic Zoom with Replete and it works. Based on the item description it's also responsive and will resize based on the screen resolution. Some styling adjustments maybe required and if you want to use the default lightbox go to the Magic Zoom Plus plugin settings page and just set the 'Use effect on product page' parameter to 'Zoom'.

Best regards,
Peter

Thanks Dude! I am on top of this one.

As stated in email, you have one of your plugins injecting a second vieport meta directive on line 70 if you view source

in addition to the original which is on line 14

You will need to edit the plugin that is doing that (i suspect the social plugin, as it is also throwing an error for using a bad google+ jquery ) and change the above meta tag so that the plugin just inject a single space '&nbsp ;' (without the empty space between the single quotes.)

You will also need to edit your header.php file and remove the above viewport on line 14 of source (though its probably on a differnt line, should be easy enough to find) and delete it. Paste the line below in its place:

Now open this page please https://github.com/scottjehl/iOS-Orientationchange-Fix/blob/master/ios-orientationchange-fix.js and copy that javascript and paste it in your footer.php right *before* the *closing body tag* ...

Just dont forget to put it inside

Or you can use this plugin by Ben Wong , though I haven't tested it, but it seems to be doing the same thing.
http://benwong.me/downloads/ios-orientation-change-bug-workaround.zip

Thanks,

Please resent Nick the url. Personally I'm unable to reproduce the issue with an ipad/ipod, etc. because I don't own such a device. Flagship works fine on my Android 4.0 phone though. I'll tag this thread for Nick.
