Hi Anita ,

You can use a plugin like WP Super Cache or W3 cache for basic speed increases on your site.

There is an infinite amount of other tweaks and changes that can be made to a site but its beyond the scope of what we can do through support.

Some of the basic improvements you can do are also things like reducing your images size and reducing how many things load in via plugins/dynamic data that is not needed.

For instance your background image is 364kb which is the largest thing loaded in when visiting the page right now.

Regards,

Devin

Hi,

I did a speed test on my site http://www.superfoodkitchen.nl with http://gtmetrix.com, and one of the results were 149 static components without a far-future expiration date. This seems to be very important. Most files are standard from Abundance. How to resolve this?

Also a lot pictures that are automatically scaled in blog posts or avia-slider are giving a bad speed result. They do not have the image sizes locked up in the <image> tag. What to do with this?

Thanks for your time!

Kind regards,
Anita Roelink
