Hi matt3000,

1&2) We would need to inspect the page live.

3) The main background is set with:

html {
background: #222 url(../images/shared/grain.png) repeat 0 0;
}

Then most of the containers have their own background set. So for the main gray background in the demo you would change it with:

#main {
background: #f8f8f8;
}

4) I don't know which widgets you mean. The combo box doesn't have any uppercase text transform css on it that I can see. If you can point out what you mean on your site we can tell which css will affect them.

Regards,

Devin

Hi,

I've started customising my theme, as I thought it was a good opportunity to learn some CSS. I am nearly there but I have a few questions, i've supplied an image of my homepage so it's hopefully easier to answer the questions.

http://i46.tinypic.com/jagu8g.jpg

Number 1. I am using ubermenu, but can't seem to enable the menu to fully stretch across the page, so the menu is surrounded by grey, I dont like how this looks, is it possible to change this?

Number 2. the main content is slightly out of line with the header /menu - i'd like everything to be aligned nicely, i've tried so many solutions to get everything in line but it's proving useless as I'm quite new to this CSS stuff

Number 3. How do I change the background, I added html,
body {
background-color: #fff;
}
into quick CSS but it didn't change anything.

Finally number 4, how do I change the fonts of the Recent posts/comments widget boxes and make them both upper and lowercase instead of all caps?

Any help would be greatly appreciated,

Thanks
