The way the template system works is it takes priority over any other code within the page so once you assign a template to it, it won't be able to load in the contact form/page.</p> <p>Because of the way the contact form works and gets set up, it needs to be restricted in how the layout can be modified via theme options.</p> <p>As for the template issue, what content are you including into the column&gt;page content?
