Upgrading should be fine. Most users have done so and although the theme has not officially been marked as supporting 3.5, we've not run into any major issues.

If you want to be on the safe side, you can wait as there isn't any huge security upgrade or anything like that with 3.5.

Regards,

And thanks, I must have forgotten that detail. I went to Theme Options>Portfolio and had forgotten to select my new category.
It worked out great.
One more quick question, is it safe for me to upgrade to the new wordpress? I just want to double check before I do so, In case important theme information gets lost.

Thanks for your help so far!

Best,
Michelle

Disregard my question about the font. It changed back on its own.

Ok, thanks. I'll see if that works.

PS is there any reason why the fonts for the headlines have changed? Is there any way I can change it back to the old font?

Thanks!

Best,

Make sure that on the portfolio page you want the new items to show up on, you've gone to its settings and selected that category. This will be in either the Template builder>*your template name*>portfolio element and add the category OR Theme Options>Portfolio.

Hi Devin,
After I created my category, I went to "Portfolio Items", uploaded my items and the checked the category that I had just created. I think that's how I usually did it and it seemed to have worked that way in the past. But I haven't uploaded anything in a month or two, so I might have forgotten something throughout the process. I hope this makes sense.

Best,

Hi Michelle,

1) What process did you go by? After creating a new category, did you go into either the Template builder>*your template name*>portfolio element and add the category OR Theme Options>Portfolio.

2) I don't see why not, though I've never actually tried.

Regards,

Hi,

1) I wanted to add a new category to my existing ones and proceeded in the same manner I added my previous categories. However, for some reason, my new category won't show up on my page. Any suggestions on what I might have done wrong or what I could be missing in the process?

2) I was also wondering if it is possible to display animated gifs in my portfolio?

Thanks in advance!
-Michelle
