Hi corvuscorax,

If you are ok with spending a bit of money, the Corona theme will allow you to use the accordion slideshow on any page you'd like and give it your own set of custom images via an in page featured media panel.

See: http://www.kriesi.at/themedemo/?theme=corona

Regards,

Well, I came up empty handed in finding any way to achieve this. I came frustratingly close -- even found a couple of themes that had Kwicks slider on a any page, but they fell way short of the beautiful slider in this theme. I have searched exhaustively trying to find a way to get this done in a straightforward, easy way, to no avail.

I beseech you, WordPress Developers, to come up with a theme -- or modify this one -- that allows one to place the Kwicks slider on any page (as well as customize the number of images, etc. Just like yours!) you would make some $$. I will sing your praises. :)

Cheers,

I'll see if I can find some type of solution and will post if I come up with something.

Thanks for the reply, Ismael. I'm familiar with the way it works on the home page.

What I'm trying to do is find a way to add a separate slider -- like the one on the home page -- to a page. I'm thinking I would need to create a new template. I would like to have 3 or 4 separate sliders (each with different content). There would be one on the main page with one set of images, another on a landing page with different images, etc.

Wondering how hard that would be.

Thanks!

If you don't use a "featured image" then it should not display in the slider right? Well that is what is happening on my site! anyone know why?

Hi,

Go Newscasts Options > Mainpage Options > Featured Slider Categories, select the category for the slideshow. You need to make sure that each posts on that certain category have a featured image. :)

Hello,

Fantastic theme. I'm looking for some guidance on how I might place the slider in use on the home page in a page or post. My site has three main landing pages, and I would like each of those landing pages to have an accordion slider showing different content.

Someone else asked a similar question, and the answer given mentioned some sort of combination of index.php and header.php, but that the content would be the same as the home page slider.

I've looked for other solutions, but this slider is by far the best, so hopefully there is an answer.

Any help is appreciated!

Thanks
