Hey!

No, Flashlight does not support videos or iframes in the slideshow. You can use the embed shortcode: http://codex.wordpress.org/Embeds in the post content though.

Regards,

Does the solution here also apply to Flashlight theme?

Hey Scott,

Can you try the solution posted here: http://www.kriesi.at/support/topic/missing-add-video-or-iframe-by-url-button-in-choices-theme#post-94082

It appears some server setups are having issues with button appearing and the file from Ismael has worked so far.

Regards,

I have read the threads and the documentation and for the life of me, cannot figure out how to add a video to my portfolio page.

In the instructions it reads, "Using Video: When working with the image slider you can also choose to display video content instead of images. this works very similar. FIrst hit the add external video by URL button. Enter the url to the video service that hosts the video."

I do not see the add external video by URL button. In the documentation, it appears right next to the "add image to slideshow" button, which I can see.

Right now, the best I can do is add and image and have the video open in lightbox. I know the solution is simple, so what am I doing wrong?

Scott
