Hi Nick,

Thanks for taking a look. I wasn't aware I had a social plugin?? Plus, I couldn't watch yor video, it just brings up a white box with 'Movie Not Loaded...' What sort of error is it?

Good news about the lightbox though.

Hey,

Your site has one of the coolest errors I've ever had the privilege of witnessing. I am thinking of submitting it to National Geekographics. Your social plugin is out to murder you, I would shut it down. Here is a video. It crashed me afterwards. https://docs.google.com/open?id=0B8hqGBMSfHtKa2NqbTBVUmdLWlU

Everything is showing up though and working from the outside. Not sure if this is even related to your initial complaint. For some reason your lightbox is the fastest I've seen in a while.

Thanks,

Nick

Hey wbp253,

I'm not having any issues seeing the posts on chrome on my end. It sounds like it may be some kind of odd caching issue. Are you possibly in an environment where there is caching going on of frequently visited pages or something like that?

In Chrome, try opening and viewing the site in incognito mode. Ctrl+shift+n for a new window in incognito then navigate to the site. That should force you to view it as a first time visitor.

Regards,

Hi Nick,

Not sure if it's a browser issue or not. In chrome I can't find the first post, but can in safari.

At present the top post is http://propertyoddity.com/huf-haus-sale-thames-drive-charvil-berkshire/ in chrome and I posted a new entry about 10 minutes ago that hasn't showed up on the homepage yet. I can search for it and can link to it, but it doesn't show up: http://propertyoddity.com/converted-granary-for-sale-linton-cambridgeshire/

Many thanks.

Hi,

Is the post private? Can the post be found in the theme's search box? Are all blog post disappearing or just that one? Could you provide url to the post which doesn't show up please?

Thanks,

Hi Devin,

Apologies for the delay in getting back to you. I had made a bit of a booboo and it was a sticky. That said, even when I took off the 'sticky' and posted a new post it didn't appear on the homepage. I can view it and send others to the post url, but if you go to the homepage it doesn't appear.

Hey wbp253,

I'm not getting any issue with the google ads but I do see the posts seem like they are out of order. Did you maybe sticky the 10 SEP post? You would be able to see it in the Publish box when viewing that individual post. It would say "Visibility: Public, Sticky".

If not, can you create a temporary admin account so I can login and take a look. Its a bit weird of an issue but maybe I can spot something out of order from the back-end.

You can send the information to my email at DevinVinson (at) gmail.com. Make sure to include a link to this topic so that my spam filter doesn't grab it :)

Regards,

and for some reason the newest post is 2nd on the blog now.
For example the 10th Sep post is at the top and 17th Oct post (today) is beneath it.

Fantastic, that's sorted that problem.
Only now I can't see the google ads in the right hand sidebar or at the bottom of individual posts. As the page is loading I can see them, then just as it's nearly finished loading the page flickers and they dissapear. Any ideas what that might be?
The site is http://www.propertyoddity.com by the way.

The first post on the blog, using the theme is slightly larger than the rest as it goes across the full width of the blog page. How can I change it so that all the images are the same size on the homepage? The problem I have is that the image is optimised for the slightly smaller posts so the big headline image looks a little blurry.

Many thanks.
