This is a bit of a hack and not recommended but it's working in your case. You probably have to maintain a single image for the background because I'm not sure if this is going to work on multiple images. I uploaded an animated gif into a page's image gallery for the background (just to see if it would work).<br /> At first it appeared to only display a still image but upon resizing the browser page with my mouse it shuffles through the animated gif all rapid like.
