Hi, just wanted to post one more time to see if you had any more suggestions for us. Unfortunately if we can't get IE functionality to work we'll have to switch plugins. We really appreciate your help. Thanks. http://www.publicartfund.org

Please replace this line:

<script type="text/javascript" src="http://www.publicartfund.org/slideshow/js/custom.js"></script>

with:

<script type="text/javascript">

jQuery(document).ready(function(){

//activate the lightbox
jQuery('a[href$=jpg], a[href$=png], a[href$=gif], a[href$=jpeg]').prettyPhoto({theme: "light_square"});

// here you can see the slide options I used in the demo page. depending on the id of the slider a different setup gets activated
jQuery('#frontpage-slider').aviaSlider({	blockSize: {height: 'full', width:'full'},
transition: 'fade',
display: 'all'
});

});

</script>

(or delete the code in custom.js and use this js code instead). The reason is that custom.js contains all the demo staff which is unnecessary and it can cause conflicts.

Hi, I am also having a problem with the slideshow not working in IE. I've looked at some of your other IE support posts for answers but haven't had any luck. Would you be able to help us out?
Thanks.

the slider is here: http://publicartfund.org/

Ok - I think I found the problem. The images you use have a filesize of over 700kb per image. The result is a long loading time per image and a slow website loading time and problems with IE. Try to reduce the image size to 100kb per image (or if it's impossible because of artifacts, etc. try to reach 400-500kb at least). You can use tools like: http://www.obviousidea.com/de/windows-software/light-image-resizer/ to batch resize/compress images and image shrink tools like: http://www.smushit.com/ysmush.it/

Hey,
as far as I know Kriesi released an update for Twicet which fixes IE9 bugs some time ago - you can download it at http://themeforest.net

Hello.. I'm having a problem where the slideshow animation on the main page isn't working from Internet Explorer browser.

Any idea to the cause of this?
