I'm sorry that it took you one day to find the solution. We try to have a reply time of 24 hours but at the moment I'm a bit swamped.

Fixed the SSL issue with tips from this thread: http://www.kriesi.at/support/topic/avia-feedback-plugin-issues-with-chrome

I spent the whole day trying to fix it while the solution was already on the forum. You could have saved me a lot valuable time simply by replying quick with a link to the solution. Quite deceiving.

Hey,

I just found what the problem is. It doesn't work when I'm under SSL (https://). When the page is accessed in normal mode ( no https) it works fine but using the secured server makes it not to work properly.

What can I do to make it work under a secured environment?

Thanks,

Chris

Thank you for the replay. I did what you suggested and it worked.

However, I another issue now: the commenting and sorting don't work. I'm not sure what I did wrong. It was all working even after I made the change in html_output.php to take email and name from a cookie.

If you want to have a quick look:

1) You need to first login to our platform: http://tenscores.com/login (email:demo@tenscores.com password:demo)
2) Go to the page where the plugin is installed: http://www.tenscores.com/account/requests/

You'll see that nothing displays when clicking on the comment link or the sorting buttons (popular, newest, etc)

Thanks for your help,

Chris

Hey,
I think the easiest way to implement what you want is to adjust the contact form function. It can be found after following code in html_output.php:

function avia_feedback_commentform($user, $context = 'feedback', $post_id='')

You could i.e. fill in the input field values by using wp functions like: http://codex.wordpress.org/Function_Reference/get_userdata or http://codex.wordpress.org/Function_Reference/get_currentuserinfo

Hi,

Like your feeback plugin. I've installed it inside our membership website. I'd like to know which files I have to modify so that the plugin takes the name and email fields from a user cookie when they post feeback or comments.

What I want is not to require logged in users to provide name and email when they're already logged in.

Thanks for letting me know.

Chris
