An ASP 3.0 website, I miss that language still. But I would consider switching to table-less design. It was very difficult to switch to css/div but Google Developer Tools make life a lot easier making changes than it was possible with tables. Good luck! If you use the unmodified version of custom.js the demo styleswitcher is included - that's why the slider interacts with the php variables (as I don't use the original custom.js I didn't thought of that first). So you can use the slider on any wp page (or other cms) without caring about php variables. You must append a variable which exists or calls a certain behaviour.
