Hey,

In /css/light-skin.css around line 59 you'll find this code:

.boxed {
    background: none repeat scroll 0 0 #FFFFFF;
    border: 1px solid #E1E1E1;
}

simply delete the border line so it looks like this:

.boxed {
    background: none repeat scroll 0 0 #FFFFFF;
}

The overall width of the page can be changed by modifying this code in style.css around line 46:

.boxed {
    margin: 0 auto;
    position: relative;
    width: 978px;
}

Bear in mind that changing the width will probably cause other elements to be out of place / break the layout. You can use FireBug to help you find and fix the CSS items which need changing.

Hi Dude

Okay, I understand. Here's a work-around - and another question!

I switched it to a fixed layout and made the background color white. If I can remove the light gray vertical lines (and fix the over-flow of a couple of things) this could work!

So can you guide me to the location of the code for the vertical lines so that I can change them to white as well?

And can I increase the overall width somewhat easily? I saw it someplace but can't remember exactly where.

THANKS!!

Hey,
sorry - I spoke too soon. Because of the slider structure you can't easily resize the control bar. The slider extends to 100% width and uses the position: absolute attribute which makes it impossible to center the control bar without changing the slider structure and framework files.

Hi Dude

Sounds good! Here's the link - still in the test phase... but you can see the slider's giant grey bar here:

Hi Team!

One more question…. and sorry to bug you…it's about the:

Slider control panel on Broadscope using a stretched layout

So I'm using the stretched layout (not the boxed layout) and the site I'm working on is floating on white.

And the slide show on the home page has the opaque gray controller bar below it which is working beautifully.

But I need to modify that controller bar so that it's the exact width of the slides I'm using which is 980px. Right now the controller bar is stretching out to the size of the browser window.

Is this in avia.js?

thanks a million!
