Hi!

You can just remove the css code from the quick css field. Then save the settings again. You can't break the admin panel with your css code :)

Best regards,
Peter

Okay. I guess my final question is how do you delete changes if you make a mistake?

Hi Brendan,

Yes, the code you put inside Quick CSS is stored in the database, so when you update the changes you made won't be lost (only changes on theme files will be lost during an update as the theme files will be replaced). But if ever you update, just backup both theme and database just to make precautions.

Regards,
Ismael

You are a legend Ismael. Your theme is one of the best I've seen. Thanks for the links.

Just so I understand, when I add CSS to the Quick CSS Box, is that code saved separately from the main theme files. I.e. When I update the theme, are my changes safe?

Hi,

First, you should have Firebug installed or if you are using Chrome you can simply right click and "Inspect Element" on any object in your browser to check it. This is the link to Firebug plugin. http://getfirebug.com/

You can place all your modification on Quick CSS box or custom.css located on the theme's css folder.

This links might help if you're just starting to learn CSS.

http://www.csstutorial.net/

http://css-tricks.com/

I'm sure you'll get the hang of it in no time.

Regards,

Hi.
Buddypress 1.7 is just about to be released and it has support for ANY theme. I am currently testing their beta plugin on a test install using the Replete theme.

At first glance it looks great but there are some minor issues with font and button sizes. I am willing to try my hand at CSS styling as the job looks quite minor.

Q. Could you show me where I can learn how to do this + what I should do with your theme?

Cheers!
