Hey,
have you tried to use columns shortcode? Create a page template with slideshow + page content elements and in your post/page editor insert a column shortcode. In the columns write your specific page/post content.

Hello. First, thanks for the amazing Velvet theme. I've been worked with it for a couple of days now and it's great--the template builder is so well designed, and process of building a slide show is perfect for non-tech clients. Very easy + intuitive!

Unfortunately, I'm having trouble creating a basic page layout using the Template Builder. I need a template with a full width, page-specific slide show at the top, and under that, two columns. I want the left column to display page-specific text. And I want the right column to list a subset of my site's pages.

I added a page-specific slide show -- that was easy. Then I added the "columns" element.

In columns, for my left column, I didn't find an option for displaying page-specific text like the full-width "post/page content" element.

For my right column I defined a new widget (I need a non-standard title for my page list) then went to widgets and configured it... but it isn't showing up when I apply my new template to a page.

I'm missing something obvious here!

Thanks
