This means that items can be as large as required (e.g. one word or a whole sentence). In order to centre the menu, you can set margin to the left / right of the element but this would assume that the menu items won't change.</p> <p>I don't understand your question regarding the alignment of the dropdowns, aside from the mega menu the menu items should appear immediately under the menu item as per the <a href="http://www.kriesi.at/themes/brightbox/">demo</a>.
