Hey,
open up style3.ss and search for following code (at the very top):

.wrapper{
background: #333 url(../images/skin3/bg.png) repeat-x left top;
}

Change the "top" attribute to a negative value. This will push the image upwards. I.e. change the code like:

.wrapper{
background: #333 url(../images/skin3/bg.png) repeat-x 0 -170px;
}

The dark grey bg. As you can see here: http://hif.joelberthet.com/ I adjusted the size of the slider, but now want the background to be raised up. I also need to adjust the shadow image, but I recognize I can do that through the psd file.

What background do you mean? The shadow image or the dark grey bg?

How do you adjust the height of the black background after changing the slider size?

Hey!

You need to edit the PSD to resize the shadow image. :)

Since you've adjusted the slider image size, you might want to reduce the height of the black background as well?

Regards,
James

Thanks! Worked like a charm... now all I have to do is resize that shadow under the slider...

Thanks, I really appreciate it.

But here's the URL if you think another solution is fine? islamonair.shaharyaranjum.com

What's the site URL? I need to see the image size to work out how best to do this.

You can probably do this by just adding this CSS to the end of style.css:

#featured { margin: 0 auto; }

Sorry if this already has been answered. I did search the forum...but couldn't find what I was looking for.
