Hi Devin,

I did try actually but the problem i found was with other pages that for one reason or another were longer than home page so the images i wanted at the foot of each page end up half way up.

Cheers

Hey Prezenz,

Well, one way you could do this would to be use one big background image. The space where the content is, is 960px wide, so you could create a whitespace there for the content.

Then change the body background image to your image and change its attributes to:

body{
background: #fff url(http://...);
background-position: top;
background-repeat: no-repeat;
}

More info on css background attributes: http://www.w3schools.com/css/css_background.asp

Hey Devin,

Thanks for the help. My next question would be, if i'm using the style 1 CSS as it comes and i wanted to float an image either side of the main content space, how would i do that.

Cheers

Hey Prezenz,

The header background is done with a background image and color applied to the body. This image also provides the background for the navigation bar (the gradient) so you'll need to create a new background image (or modify the current one) then replace it.

I'm using the Newscast theme with style 1. I'm looking to change the background of the theme but leave the header as is (everything up until the slider) however i'm a little difficulty as when i change the background it also changes the header.

Look forward to a reply!
