Hi h_denisa,

This is for the Display theme and not for the Corona theme. For Corona, the main header background is done with an image depending on your skin. If you wanted to change that, you can change out that image. So for the minimal skin, it would be the image in images>skin-minimal>bg-header.png inside your theme files.

For the footer, Try adding the following CSS to your Quick CSS (located under the Styling Tab in the theme options) or the custom.css file in the css folder of your theme files:

#footer {
background: #222;
}

If you have any other questions, just make a new topic in the Corona Forum here: http://www.kriesi.at/support/forum/corona

Regards,

Devin

Hello. I can 't seem to find style1.css in my folders. Is there any other way I can change the colour of the Corona header and footer without it? Please help.

Hi, I want to change the color and picture background of just 3 pages, not the entire theme.
I saw the tip about change custom.css using the page id but can't find it on Display theme.

I tried to change the style.css and style3.css but the gray color of theme is still covering the new color.

Can you help me plz?

Do you refer to the grey background? The shadow box looks ok for me. I'm not sure if SimpleCSS messes around so I'd try to change the file offline. Use cpanel or a software like filezilla to download style1.css (located in the folder css).Download it, modify it and upload it again. At the moment your website looks like the demo here: http://www.kriesi.at/demos/display/minimal/ so I'm not sure what doesn't display correct.

I uploaded the original file and it went back to normal - however, when I try to change the color of e.g. the text in the menu there seems to go something wrong behind the slider.

Please check out the "box" behind the slider: http://innovationspartner.dk/

All I did was to change the text color in the menu (.nav li a)

Hey,
you can download the original style1.css here: http://www.kriesi.at/demos/display/wp-content/themes/display/css/style1.css

As far as I can see your wrapper code is missing a bracket. It should look like:

.wrapper {
background-color: #fff;
background-image: url(../images/skin1/bg.png);
background-position: top;
background-repeat: repeat-y;
}

I just downloaded style1.css with Simple CSS - changed the color for the wrapper:

body {
background-color: #222;
color: #777;
}

.wrapper {
background-color: #fff;
background-image: url(../images/skin1/bg.png);
background-position: top;
background-repeat: repeat-y;

But when I changed the color back to the original (because it didn't look the way I wanted), the whole page background was white and the skins "Light" and "Minimal" are messed up: http://innovationspartner.dk/

Please help me? The file should be exactly like the original now, but something went wrong. Can I get the original style1.css file somewhere? I didn't save a back-up copy, because I was sure that I could just change it back the way it was.

Thank you again

Hey,
please use a ftp software (like filezilla) and navigate to wp-content/themes/display folder. It contains another folder called "css". There you can find style1.css. Download it, edit it and upload it again.
