If you mean to upgrade your theme to a newer version, there are a few steps you should take.

1.) Backup your existing theme files.
2.) Change the theme to Twenty Ten (or Default)
3.) Delete the existing theme files from the server.
4.) Upload the new version theme files.
5.) Re-activate the theme.

If you have made any changes to the default theme package you will need to reapply these changes.

Hey!

@OwenDeveio is correct, the background is an image. If you want to edit the image, use the PSD included in the theme package which would be easier than recreating it.

Best regards,
James

The only way around that would be to remove the image from the CSS (or crop it to not include the navigation), then add the colours to the navigation like normal (change the .catnav class).

If I change that logo.png, it will change the whole payout.. Not exactly what I want.

What about upgrading the template? How do i do it?

The buttons in the main navigation aren't the normal CSS styling used in most sites. from the very top of the page, all the way down to below an inch of the menu is actually an image.

Look for an image called bg.png in the images folder.

Hope this helps.

Hi,

A quick question (or two). I searched and can´t seem to find how can I customize de color of the Category Menu Buttons. I need to change that to orange and I am struggling.

Also, how do I go about updating the template?

Thank you.
