I was also looking through the style sheet and I couldn't find any color values whatsoever. Only here did I find code that speaks to color values.

#top .slideThumbHeading{
position: relative;
font-size: 11px;
font-weight: normal;
background: #000;
color:#fff;
width:140px;
padding:5px 10px;
display: block;
}

.slideThumbTitle strong{
font-weight: normal;
}

.slideWelcome{
width:400px;
height:100px;
position: relative;
background: #fff;
margin: 172px auto 0 auto;
display: block;

Hey I tried to change the color, but nothing happens after I edit the default style sheet. Before it looked like this:

#wrapper_main{
padding-bottom:40px;
}

Then I added:

#wrapper_main{
padding-bottom:40px;
background-color: #222e51;
}

Nothing changed. Any other words of advice would be helpful. I'm running into my deadline with this website for my client.

Hi Dwayne,

Yep, its definitely possible. However it will take modifying a number of CSS properties as a lot of the shadow effects and lines are done with images. If you are using the default style sheet (style1.css) you'll need to start with the following:

#wrapper_main
.sidebar
.sidebar_top
.sidebar_bottom

You'll give #wrapper_main the background color you want and then make sure the sidebar classes don't have background colors or images that will overlap with that color.

If you are using Chrome, you can right click>inspect element to pick out any additional css classes or ID's that have backgrounds and interfere with your new color.

One more thing, check out the Avisio - Dark skin that is available from the Avisio Options General Layout Settings. Its not quite navy blue but maybe it'll work for you.

Hey,

I would like to know if it is possible to change the color in the content section of the home page. I have already chosen a primary color for the page from the avisio options, and it is fuchsia. I would like to keep the fuchsia in the section behind the slideshow (where it is now), but replace it with a navy blue in the contents section of the page. Is this possible, and is there css code to get it done? Would really appreciate some help on this one.
