Hi Devin,

I want the model page to NOT show the full sizedimage, and when i click on a type/post then see the post with the full size image.
And is there a way to sort the posts? i added a sidebar but now all models are sort of random. http://www.gustobicycles.com/?cat=40

Hi Helenajz,

I'm not quite sure what you are looking to do. You want the Model page ( http://www.gustobicycles.com/?cat=40 ) to not show the full sized images or to show them?

Ok i regenerated the thumbnails. What happens now is that it shows the complete images in the model page and the post. I just want it changed in the post and not in the modelpage.. This way there is no need for the post. because it all is visible on the modelpage. Any way to solve this?

Hi Helenajz,

I'm sorry I missed your response last week! Yes, you change that line and then regenerate thumbnails. It shouldn't have any effect on the rest of the site.

What is happening is, the theme uses the functions.php to tell Wordpress that whenever a photo is uploaded to also create alternate versions of the image with those specifications. Then the theme uses those sizes later in creating posts.

Please help me out here. I am afraid of using the 'regenerate thumbnails plugin' maybe it will screw up the rest of the site, and i really need to have it don this week. Can someone help me to get the image as in http://www.gustobicycles.com/?p=1006 show as a full image? I only need a higher area to have the bike show in full. There must be an easy way... i hope. What i just need to know. When i change the height on 'pages' as suggested and click regenerate thumbnails, wil it change anything else on the site?? i just needto change the height of the area where the model is shown on the blogpost.

So do i change $avia_config['imgSize']['page'] = array('width'=>608, 'height'=>200);// image for pages and one column portfolio
into
$avia_config['imgSize']['page'] = array('width'=>608, 'height'=>350, 'crop'=>false); // image for pages and one column portfolio?

What i want is to have a postpage with the full image showing. That way there is no need for magnifying. or just skip the postpage and go to magnify option directly. When i change the avia config setting as you sayd, nothing happens.

HI Helenajz,

You can change the size of the images in your functions.php page. The height has been the suggested only change since the width is often associated with layout functions. Afterwards regenerate the thumbnails with: http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/regenerate-thumbnails/

You can also add the crop=>false/true parameter to activate or deactivate cropping.

Example:

$avia_config['imgSize']['page'] = array('width'=>608, 'height'=>350, 'crop'=>false); // image for pages and one column portfolio

On this post you can see the problem with uploaded images (they get cut off) http://www.gustobicycles.com/?p=1067&lang=zh-hant How do i change the size of the shown image without having to loose the size when zooming in with the magnify function.
