You can modify loop/format-standard.php layout (and the other format templates &amp; loop-index.php layout) by replacing the units per column. I.e. replace following css classes:<br /> <pre><code>six units</code></pre> <p>with:<br /> <pre><code>five units</code></pre> <p>to decrease the width of the center column.
