Hi,
1) No - it's not possible to create hierarchical portfolio. Thus you can't link a portfolio (overview) page to another portfolio overview page. A portfolio overview page will always link to single portfolio entries/posts. Maybe you can use a redirection plugin like: http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/redirection/ for a workaround though. Eg you can redirect a single portfolio entry to another portfolio category or overview page, etc. - however be aware that this solution isn't seo friendly.

2) If you want to protect the entire post you can use the default wordpress password potection. On the post/page editor page search for the "Publish" option field (right top corner). Click on "Edit" next to the "Visibility" option and select "Password protected". If you just want to protect parts of the post content you can try membership plugins like: http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/s2member/ or http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/groups/

3) You can try following css code:

.sidebar .box {
background: rgba(255, 255, 255, 0.6);
}

The last value is the opacity value - you can use any value between 0 and 1.

Hi guys! first and fore most, noob here so pardon me if this seems rather simple but Im still in the learning phases.
Secondly, Thanks so much for creating this template. Its awesome!

To my questions:

I was hoping to put several menus and sub menus in my portfolio page. Since I can create categories in the portfolio through WP
is it possible to use these categories as the first level within the porftfolio page, and when you click this a second level of selections are avaialble? All of this while maintaining the default (2-3 column) porfolio layout of this theme (with the photo) in both levels of the portfolio? (i hope this is not too vague? to add ill attempt a description.)

Portfolio
->Fashion and glamour(What comes out when you click the portfolio button from the menu)
--->Fashion (second level with the actual photos when you click this)
--->Editorial (second level with the actual photos when you click this)
--->Model Folios (second level with the actual photos when you click this)
->Events (Also, What comes out when you click the portfolio button from the menu)
--->Weddings (second level with the actual photos when you click this)
--->Corporate (second level with the actual photos when you click this)
--->Catwalkl (second level with the actual photos when you click this)
->Commercial Also, (What comes out when you click the portfolio button from the menu)
--->Food(second level with the actual photos when you click this)
--->Product(second level with the actual photos when you click this)

I was also wondering how to use the password protected galleries? im trying to find a guide or how to
so I can use this for my clients accessing work specific to them in my site.

Lastly, I was wondering how to make the background color of the menu (white or black) partially translucent?
I saw a previous post that worked great turning the black b/g translucent but it doesnt seem to work for a
white b/g for me.

I really hope you guys can help me with this matter. Thanks in advance.
