Apologies for not coming back to you.
I now have this working, it appeared to be a permissions issue.
Thanks for your help anyway.

Hey,

The 3-d slide show does not work for me...I can only use the fading slider from the theme options. Any ideas to get this working?

Cheers,
D.

Hey,

Firstly, Display has been updated and is now at version 2.0. This can be downloaded from your Theme Forest downloads page.

Do you have a URL where I can see the problem? I appreciate it's difficult if its on a local machine but it's easier to debug :)

If you switch the options to use the Slideshow Manager does it work?

Cheers,
James

Hi Kriesi,

First off, let me just say I love the Display template, one of my favourites to work on.

Well, I have the the Display theme (version: 1.4) running on Wordpress 3.0.1 locally on my Mac using MAMP.
It works absolutely fine, no issues at all.
I have had to transfer the installation to a windows machine running XAMPP (latest version).
Basic steps taken:

1. export and import of SQL file from PHPMyAdmin
2. transfer of wordpress folder to htdocs folder on Win machine
3. change config.php file with new SQL table details

Everything in the theme is working fine, except for the slider which fails to display at all, just leaves a blank space on the front page.
I have checked that all of the files copied over correctly including the images and slider files.
The slider is running off the config.xml file so should be working ok in that regard.
I have checked this in the latest versions of Firefox, Chrome and Opera - none of them display the slider.
Any ideas you might have would be very useful, thanks.
