If you've customized the theme files directly, I can't say for sure what you would need to reload but you should keep track of changes to the files so that you are still able to update.</p> <p>If you are worried about losing the theme settings, you will not lose them when just re-loading the same theme files with an update.</p> <p>The menu function is only using the regular wordpress custom menu funciton so if it isn't working then there is definitely an issue that needs to be addressed either with a plugin, the theme files, wordpress or in the set up of the menu.</p> <p>If you can create a temporary admin account for me I'll log in and take a look.</p> <p>You can send the information to my email at DevinVinson (at) gmail.com. If it isn't working, disable all active plugins completely and check it again.
