it's ok - I think I've worked this out.

I just copied the existing single.php to my child theme; called it single-treatment.php then copied the loop-index.php file into the child theme; and modified line 22 to say: get_template_part( 'includes/loop', 'treatment' );

All working!

I'm using a child theme to create and register a custom post type. I have the back end working correctly, but I can't work out how to create the different front end views in this template.

If the custom post type is treatment, I'd just create files called: single-treatment.php; template-treatment.php etc. however there seems to be a different method used on this theme.

Any help you can offer with this would be appreciated.

Thanks

Marcus
