Hi,
You can use plugins like widget logic: http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/widget-logic/ and the is_home() conditional if you want to show specific widgets on the front page. The widgets need to be in the displayed everywhere sidebar.

Hello everyone,

I want do adjust the front page sidebars. Is this possible to have a unique sidebar for the frontpage? I have assigned a sidebar to the site that is shown on the frontpage. when I access this site directly, I have the correct display. On the frontpage however it only shows the sidebar for the "display everywhere" widget. I do not want to use that one. That´s why I can not do a workaround by using this a left sidebar only on the frontpage...

Thanks for you help,
Chris
