Thanks @Dude.

I was able to remove the thumbnails using that advice, but unfortunately that also removed the slider and made it impossible to navigate through the Features. I tried a couple different ways to leave the slider w/o the thumbnails without success, so I ended up following your original advice and resizing the thumbnails smaller (I also removed the headline so it's more compact, and reduced the size of the thumbnail caption)

Really appreciate your prompt support!

In includes/helper-featured-posts.php delete following two code lines:

Thanks rumblefish and dude.

I removed the function slideshow_thumbs() in the helper-slideshow.php file, but mysteriously the thumbnails are still rendered in our Feature Slider. I could make the thumbnails smaller, but I really just want to remove them completely. Any suggestions?

Thanks!

Yes - the size is set in functions.php. Please use this plugin: http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/regenerate-thumbnails/ to regenerate the thumbnails afterwards.

Helper-slideshow.php (/includes folder) and slideshow.css (/css folder)are probably the ones you want. I think the size of the thumbnails is set in functions.php

Hey everyone,

We are having fun making some tweaks to the Shoutbox theme but are stumped as to which PHP file(s) holds the Feature Slider that is displayed on the frontpage of our site. We would like to remove the thumbnail images underneath the slider and would appreciate any advice as to where that code is hidden.

Thanks!
