Yes Upscale and Shoutbox use an improved version of the mega menu function. I'll report this to Kriesi as feature request and I'll ask Kriesi if he has any plans to implement it in Brightbox or Broadscope. It's not possible to influence wordpress filters and functions with CSS but with PHP, custom filters & hooks only...

I noticed in your UpScale theme that I CAN utilize html code in the mega menus to create bold fonts and line breaks. How is that theme able to get around the Wordpress stripping? Is there some way to incorporate that into BrightBox by editing the style.css - or alternatively through a future update?

Hey,
add following code to css/custom.css:

#top .main_menu .avia_mega h1, #top .main_menu .avia_mega h2, #top .main_menu .avia_mega h3, #top .main_menu .avia_mega h4, #top .main_menu .avia_mega h5, #top .main_menu .avia_mega h6 {
    font-size: 13px;
}

and adjust the font-size value.

WordPress strips html tags when you try to insert them in the (mega) menu. You can try to create shortcodes for each html tag or you can try raw html code plugins like: http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/enable-raw-html-disable-corruption/

How would I go about increasing the size of the mega menu column titles? I've found the code in style.css to increase body text size, but not the titles.

Also, this theme seems to ignore html code when trying to customize mega menu content. For example, in UpScale I can use code such as <span style="color: #000000; font-size: 15px; font-weight: bold;">, or , or break code such as
to create space between text paragraphs. This theme is ignoring any of these codes. How would I go about inserting code to customize?
