Just to be clear though, it doesn't pull the data from lightroom itself but instead it pulls the data that is saved into the picture by lightroom.

Regards,

Hi metropolitandetail,

As far as I know they are just pulled from the embedded data on the image. I just tested exporting an image from lightroom and then uploading it to a gallery to make sure and the process ended up showing camera, created on, shutter, iso etc without issue.

The only thing I can think of is to double check that you have the option for exif data to show up in the Gallery Options. Also make sure that the exif data is being saved to the photo in the lightroom options and not just the copyright and creation date.

Regards,

Hey,
are you certain you've checked all the right settings in your Theme Options and when you created your Portfolio item?
When creating your portfolio item you should check the settings under "Gallery Tooltips/Metadata", in your Theme Options under General Settings you should also set the "Gallery Tooltips" to display exifs.

Hope this helps :)

Today I bought and installed the Flashlight Wordpress theme, I really like how everything is working but one thing I can't quite figure out. On the demo site for the theme it shows detailed exif data for some images in the 'Galleries' sections like Camera Model and Aperture.

I've added images to my portfolio page on my personal website, exported from Lightroom 3 I double checked that the exif was still in there (in the jpg) using Windows Explorer and everything looked fine but the detailed info won't show up on my website, just the creation date and copyright but not the camera model and aperture.

What can be causing this? The exif module for php is installed!
