Hi,

You can actually adjust the position via css. Note that all of the captions will be affected.

div .slideshow .slideshow_caption {
top: 10px;
left: 10px;
}

This is not effective for all kinds of image slider.

Regards,
Ismael

Hey!

No, unfortunately it's not possible to define custom positions. The captions will float to the left or right based on your settings.

Best regards,
Peter

Well, yes, you are correct, but I was wondering if I had more control than just the presets you have there. Could I access those styles and make new ones that would allow me to put the captions in the precise spot I want them?

Thanks,

Hey zorrolynx,

Of course! When you are editing the page you have designated as your Frontpage go to the Featured media meta box below the visual editor. There, you should see the images you have set for the slideshow. Click on Show to expand and view the options for the image. The second tab is "Caption Advanced". From there you can use the dropdown labeled "Caption Position and Style" to choose where you want that caption to show up. Do this for each of your images and make sure to save when you are done.

Regards,

Devin
