Dude, I appreciate your response. I believe the issue is in the configuration of the theme. I am new to WP and not familiar with coding and setup requirements. After I purchased the CleanCut package, I simply unzipped the file and uploaded the 991 KB zip archive file into my WP app. I then started to peruse the dashboard and began adding pages.

Can you walk me through the steps to configure the CleanCut theme. I have played around a bit with the dashboard and options but cannot locate any headers under the Appearance tab. I am probably not realizing the potential of the CleanCut theme and would really like to utilize the features of the theme.

I would really appreciate your assistance.

Dennis

Hey,
you don't need additional scripts, software, etc. - the slider will work out of the box if you configure everything right. Did you read the documentation.pdf which is part of the theme package? Especially the point "E) SETTING UP THE FRONT PAGE".- is important here.

Hello Dude,

I believe that I uploaded the proper file onto BluHost, my web hosting entity. Now I want to add some pictures to my website using sliders, I believe. Can you let me know if I have to buy additional software to add the sliders onto my website. Do you have a recommended tutorial for me to follow to help implement this feature?

Thanks,

Dennis

Yes - this is a common mistake. Nearly all envato items are packed twice because documentation, image source files, etc. are included too.

Thanks Dude, I will give it a try. I was thinking that the larger file @ 43.2 MB would have been the correct file to upload

I'll let you know if I have any other issues.

Hey,
we have no other reports about corrupt files so it's propably a problem with your browser/download manager. Try another browser or contact the Themeforest support: http://themeforest.net/support

Please unzip the package you got from themeforest.net ONE time. You should get a folder which contains PSDs, Docs and another zip file (which is called cleancut.zip. This zip file is the right file. Go to your wordpress admin panel and navigate to Appearance > Themes. Then select the cleancut.zip file, upload & install it. You can also unpack this zip file and upload the resulting folder via ftp to wp-content/themes.

Also have a look at this tutorial video @themeforest.net: http://wiki.envato.com/buying/support-buying/solving-broken-theme-issues/

I purchased CleanCut a few days ago from Kriese and tried to download the template to my Mac. Each time I tried to download, I received a failure message. When I visited the Bluhost site today and tried to install the zip file (that appeared in my download directory of the Mac) via the dashboard section of Bluhost (Install Themes, I was unable to upload the file listed on the download section of my Mac.

I was wondering if there is an easier way to download the purchased template onto the Bluhost site, or to properly download the template onto my Mac.
