No. The problem is that I can't find a html element which allows me to add a border. Try out other twitter plugins/widgets and I'll try to help you to style it as you like.

Hey...

I tried it and it works on some tweets and not others which is odd. I will have a look around for other plugins that might be better.

Any idea on the formatting issue I mentioned above?

Cheers

Hey,
please try to use a different twitter widget like Tweetbox: http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/tweetbox/ - twitter maybe changed their api a bit and so the status link doesn't work correctly anymore.

Hi,

That worked perfectly thanks. I do however have another question. I'm trying to add a space in between each tweet and a line like there used to be... The problem I'm having is that when I change the CSS it either inserts a line, or a space after every line in the sidebar, not in every specific tweet. Can you help me with this?

Also the other problem I'm encountering is when I click on the timestamp for each tweet, it should take me to that specific tweet on the twitter site, however it goes to a twitter page that says that tweet doesn't exist - do you know why it's doing this?

If you want to have a look, check it out here: http://adellej.com/?page_id=2

Thanks
Adelle

Hey, yes you just need to overwrite the default link styling. Since each widget got a unique id or class just check the html source code of your site for that class. lets say its the class "widget_twitter"

try the following:

#top .sidebar .widget_twitter li a{
display:inline;
margin:0;
padding:0;
background: transparent none;
}

HI Adellej,

You can simply add text widget and enter your HTML code in text widget.

Go to "Appearance --> Widget" and now drag "Text" from main area to right side area. Drop in "All Pages" or "Sidebar Blog".

Thanks,

Hi,

1. I'm trying to edit the content in the sidebar for my website but I can't figure out how to get it looking right. I've added a twitter feed to the sidebar on my Contact page, however the links are changing into big rollover buttons which is not what I'm after, I just want them to flow in the text. I presume I can edit this in the CSS somewhere so that it only effects the Contact page? Can you please point me in the right direction?

2. I'd like to add a small paragraph of text into the sidebar on other pages, and have it specific to certain pages in my website (ie. the text in the sidebar would be different on different pages). How would I go about doing this?

Thanks
