You can use a plugin like: http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/widget-logic-visual/

Then create some logic so that only a specific widget displays on a certain page and other things like that.

Regards,

Hi Devin,

Thank you very much for the reply. I did what you proposed and even after creating a custom widget area (and assigned a widget on it -CALENDER ONLY) for specific page - http://demo.meatymilky.com/beauty-cosmetic/, it still show other widget from the PAGES .

Is there anyway to assign custom widget to specific page? I cant leave the PAGE WIDGET AREA empty as if I do so, all left page and right page template widget area will be empty.

Thank you

Warm regards,
Max

Hi Max,

If you want to have a single widget area for a specific page you can add it via the theme options "Sidebar" tab. Use the dropdown to select the page you want to have its own widget area and then save. You can then add widgets to just that area in the widgets options.

The issue you are running into is just part of wordpress. Parent widget areas will always show their contents on any sub pages of that type. So everything in Pages shows up on ALL pages.

Regards,

Devin

Hello support team,

Im kinda new in wordpress, so the question might sounds a little stupid, Im having problem creating custom menu in sidebar widget area without inserting "widgets already in global setting (SIDEBAR PAGE)". For example:

We placed some widget in SIDEBAR PAGE widget area. So the widget is shown in all pages with sidebar.
Then we created new page template with sidebar using template builder. [lets just call it SAMPLE], and assign few widget elements into that widget area..

Question is, Widget area which is in the SIDEBAR PAGE is also available in pages using SAMPLE page template - Which is not what we're expecting as many of your other themes does not have these issues.
I really need help on how to create new page template with STANDALONE Sidebar Widget Area.

Thanks in advance.

Regards,
Max
