ok. nevermind. the text opacity appears to be working as we would like now. strange. but we would still like the background to be transparent on the portfolio popup if possible.

Hi rsn8,

For the text below the slider, try to add this code:

.dynamic_textarea_p p {
color: #000;
}

Just change the color value.

For the portfolio text on the right, try this code:

.entry-content p, .portfolio-meta-value {
color: #000;
}

Hope this helps.

Regards,

This is great. thank you. almost there. unfortunately, it takes a lot of the text along with it. please check out http://fawntwin.com to see what I mean. There is text under the main slider. Also, please click on the portfolio item entitled CHRISTMAS EVE CAN KILL YOU (2012). Ther eis text in the right sidebar that is transparent. If I remove main_color from the above list it works fine, but the background is white.

please help. and thank you...jay

Hi Jay,

This should change it for all background areas that are currently set to white:

.main_color, .main_color .site-background, .main_color .first-quote, .main_color .related_image_wrap, .main_color .gravatar img, .main_color .comment-reply-link, .main_color .inner_slide .numeric_controls a, .main_color .hr_content, .main_color .news-thumb, .main_color .post-format-icon, .main_color.ajax_controlls a, .main_color #js_sort_items a, .main_color .portfolio-sort-container .inner-entry, .main_color .inner_slide {
background-color: transparent;
color: transparent;
}

Regards,

Thank you for the response. However, when I remove the background images in those areas and add the suggested css to Quick CSS, I still end up with the background color that is set under each tab. I would like that color to be transparent as well.

Thanks...Jay

Hi jay,

Instead of adding background on those areas(except the body), try to use this code instead:

background: none;

or

background: none !important;

Hope this helps. :)

I would like to have a single background image throughout the site. Right now I have added the same image as a background on main content, alternate content, footer, socket as well as Background. The result is a bit of a patchwork design. However, If I remove them in each section the background becomes white (or whatever color I set it to). Is it possible to turn the opacity to zero for each area?

http://fawntwin.com/
