It requires quite a lot of work to implement the slider:

1) You need to replace the slider script + css files.
2) You need to update the options on the admin screen
3) You need to update the slideshow class
4) You'll need to make some theme specific adjustments (styling, template/html code, etc.)

If you need a WooCommerce theme which supports the new slider you can try Replete: http://themeforest.net/item/replete-ecommerce-and-business/3519946

Understood. Is there any way to implement the newer script, or is it a pretty extensive process?

Hi!

Hi,
no, Propulsion uses an older version of the adaptavia script which does not support flying captions.

Best regards,
Peter

I tried searching for a thread regarding this but didn't seem to find one. I recommended this theme to a client and we're in the process of building the website, but they're now asking for the flying captions style slider from the Choices theme. Is this possible? Please advise. Thanks!!
