I don't think it would be worth it. I think generally users understand that on a site with heavy photography there is going to be a tiny bit of patience required at some points. Thought it is actually quite quick on my end when viewing your site.

Regards,

HI!
Thank you for your answer. Yes, I figured this is probably the fastest my site is gonna be. Although I still haven't set up CDN through W3 Total Cache. I went as far as joining cloudfare, but as soon as they asked me to change my name servers I got scared, I am afraid it may interfere with my piwik installation which by the way was a huge pain. I am also not so sure how much more would it speed the image loading. Do you think it would be worth the trouble?
Thanks again!

Hi arenavioleta,

It is just the nature of the speed of the site+internet+computer. The image has to be loaded in for the user to be able to select it. Optimizing image size and making files as small as possible will help but the data still has to travel hundreds of miles from where it is located to the users computer.

Regards,

I just wanted to add that I have added the EWWW Image Optimize plugin to compress my images and it is helping the issue, although it has not completely solved the problem. I will keep trying, if anyone has suggestions or ideas that could help do let me know.
Thanks

Hello there,
So I keep having troubles with my full screen galleries. I am hoping people can surf through the images by clicking on the arrows OR clicking on the thumbnails at the bottom. But the thing is, sometimes when clicking on the arrow or on a random thumbnail the desired image doesn't load right away. I have to press like 3 times for it to load and at times it does not even load the image at all. All of my images are 1000px in height which I thought was the minimum requirement for a good resolution in the full screen layout. Could anyone give me any ideas as to why this is happening and how could I solve it?
Thanks in advance!
