Alternatively you can use the sidebar news widget.</p> <p>3) You can adjust the image dimensions in functions.php. My client would like to make the following changes. What is the best way to do this and can I use Widgets in the main page area and if so how?</p> <p>1. In place of "Rides" put running Twitter and Facebook lines, with 4-5 most recent tweets/posts (this is to draw more attention to our social media and for those not on FB/Twitter to be engaged)<br /> 2. Above "Rides" where the Team News is, instead of just the link, put a paragraph from the most recent blog post with the title, to try and draw people in. </p> <p>3. They also want to know if the heading photos can be smaller and how would I change the dimension.</p> <p>If the widgets in the home page body don't work, when I set the home page up as the Default Template instead of the Full Width, I saw that the News automatically was on the right side.
