Hi Peter,

IE is very specific about not having any code above the doctype declaration. In your header.php check to see if you've added anything at the top of the file. The first few lines should be the following:

<?php $style = avia_get_option('boxed','stretched'); ?>

<!DOCTYPE html>

If you look a the source of your page, there is a bit of javascript just about the doctype and is what is causing IE 8 and 9 to go into quirks mode. Not sure why its only showing up on the homepage but my guess would be a plugin or add on to that page is putting in that bit of code in the wrong place.

Regards,

Devin

Hi guys,

I have a bizarre problem. When I look at all the pages of my website in any of the browsers (Firefox, Chrome, etc.), everything shows up just fine. All of the pages also show up just fine in IE 8 & 9 except for the homepage. By any chance can you see if you experience the same problem?

http://notashamedofthegospel.com/

Many thanks,

Peter
