&#60;p&#62;You can add your own HTML directly to that area by opening up header.php in the theme files and searching for:&#60;br /&#62;
&#60;code&#62;&#38;lt;?php get_search_form(); ?&#38;gt;&#60;/code&#62;&#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;Add the css styles you use to the theme style sheet and adjust as needed.&#60;/p&#62;
