Allready solved it. Finaly. Make a new css file and name it ie7.css. Put a hack in your header.php for checking if you are using IE7. When you are using IE7 use the ie7.css. In that file put this code in:

#top .main_menu .menu ul {
line-height:5px;
}

Hello all,

When I test the site in IE7 the sub menu items are further away from each other then in newer versions (or in chrome etc). Is there a way to fix this?

Thanks
