Hey O5,

It depends on the place where they are going but generally keeping them larger than the area in which they need to fill on both dimensions will keep them from getting negatively distorted.

In your functions.php there are all the sizes for the various applications. So for instance portfolio items should be at least 495 pixels wide and 400 pixels tall. Keeping your images at larger sizes to the same ration will also make sure they all appear without issue.

Regards,

What is the best way to handle various image sizes, landscape and portrait, so they don't appear distorted?

Portfolio images are automatically cropped but some expand a bit more than others. Can all images be same cropped size as in the demo example?

When I click on portfolio images they enlarge. Is there a way to control image sizing, so that it only reads image original size?
