Hey!

I know that you can configure the follow/nofollow rules with Yoast SEO but I'm not sure if All in one SEO takes care of them.

Best regards,
Peter

Thanks made the changes, it functions well. I just hope that All in one SEO takes care of duplicate content in archives.

Hi anniet,

You can do the same thing. All its doing is giving your plugin the control over the headers :)

Regards,

This works great across the site - quick question though - using Yoast the home page description meta doesn't get displayed - all other pages seem fine to me, just neglects to use a description on the home page - any idea how to resolve this? thanks

sorry i have the replete theme - but doing a search this fixed my issue in that theme...

FIXED: discovered home page could be done via Yoast titles & meta settings section

You can use tools like WordPress SEO (created by Yoast): http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/wordpress-seo/ to improve your seo. It will generate a sitemap for you and you can change the title and meta tags (including facebook og meta tags) for each entry. It will also handle the robots meta tag.

Personally I'd delete following line from header.php:

if (function_exists('avia_set_follow')) { echo avia_set_follow(); }

and change following line:

<?php bloginfo('name'); ?> | <?php is_home() ? bloginfo('description') : wp_title(''); ?>

to:

<?php wp_title(''); ?>

- the reason is that WP SEO will give you full control over the title and you don't need to use Kriesi's default title structure.

Hi,

For the Propulsion theme I was wondering how the theme itself works to increase SEO. What are good practices I can do within the theme itself to maximize SEO? So far I have been tagging and naming all the files and photos within the site. Also, how do I access the meta tags for each page?

Thanks!
