Sorry for replying late. I will have a look at this in the next days.

I worked with .po files quite some years ago so I guess I can handle that :-)

Can you point be to a site where you tried to remove the borders from the images? I checked the stylesheet and your .no-border code is correct.

I uploaded my language file to: http://www.mediafire.com/?l1oaxlrs655752y

Just open it with poedit (or another editor if you just want to have a quick look at it). There are over 100 strings.

Would you be able to say how many strings are there to translate? I'm running polish version of wordpress, it has the original wp strings translated.

Here you'll find a tutorial how to translate Avisio.

1) http://codex.wordpress.org/User:Skippy/Creating_POT_Files

2) http://appthemes.com/blog/how-to-translate-a-wordpress-theme/

I already translated Avisio to German so I can send you my .mo and po files.

I'm quite new to WP so I don't know how WP does localization but so far I see some hard coded strings in the Avisio template but also even in the default theme Twentyten.

Do I get something wrong? Do I have to change my WP installation's config so I get a German text instead of "Posted in" and the German time format instead of "Jul 30, 2010"?
