There's actually no way to "force" the user to create an account. You can deselect the " Enable guest checkout (no account required)" option on the WooCommerce > Settings > General admin page - however all users will still be able to add items to the cart but they can't buy the products without creating a new account (or they can use an existing account).

Hello Dude,

the WooCommerce plugin make available the sale of membership (you pay once or per purchases, etc.), right? But how can a client create an account before purchasing any thing?

Actually, if a customer choses a product to buy, he creates an account then buy the product. But if I want the client to open an account before he choses something?

Sincerely,

Vince

You can use membership plugins like: Groups - User membership management or S2 Member. I'd prefer groups because you can use it with woocommerce: Groups WooCommerce and it offers more options to restrict the access to files: Groups File Access.

Oh I tried "Sidebar Login" and "Theme My Login" but those didn't cut it, so ruling those out, any other plugins I should try?

Hi,

I'm trying to password protect one specific page, but am not satisfied with the Wordpress password protection feature.
I would really like for users to be directed to a page that shows login & register features which I can also customize. Can you recommend any plugins that go well with this particular theme?

Thank you!
