Sorry Devin

that I couldn't really make clear what I want. However, your answer contained everything I wanted to know and definitely helped me solve my problem – or at least allowed me to make the changes I had longed for.

Thank you very much!

Hi Jens,

I'm not quite sure what you mean. The only time the logo changes (and it is coded this way) is when the window size gets to mobile/tablet size and then it aligns center at the same time as the other elements.

Even if you remove the main slideshow image, the logo doesn't start out aligned exactly with the text or date below but instead is about in the middle of the two. See:

If wanted to adjust the values, you can open up layout.css in the css folder and search for:

/* #Left Sidebar Mods

In those you can modify the values for:

#top.left_sidebar #header

At each of the various screen sizes which adjusts the positioning as you resize everything.

Regards,

Devin

Hi there,

when I put the sidebar to the left (which is obviously the only adequate solution :-) the logo will not stay exactly left-justified with the headline and text below but jump left and right, depending on the size of the window. Please try out at http://maennig.de if you like – or in the Sentence demo, where it actually does the same.

Is there any solution to keep the position of the logo more stable in a esthetically appealing position? And no, putting the sidebar to the right is not the solution I really want.

Thanks for any hints,

Jens
