Hey just change following code in style.css:

#wrapper_head{
position: relative;
z-index: 100;
overflow: visible;
height:100px;
}

You can change the "height" values as you like.

No i made sure that wasn't selected. It works now though, i went to "Habitat Settings" and clicked on "Import dummy data" and for some reason it started working (it didn't even import anything). Now my question is how do i increase the space between the logo area and the blog posting area? (in style.css what is the area where the blog is called?)

Maybe you use a static page as homepage? Go to Settings > Reading and check your settings there. I can help you to set things up, just send me you login details to: kriesi2000-dude@yahoo.com

I'm trying to have my posts appear on the front page of my site, but i can only see the posts via their permalinks and not on the main page. How do i do this? The support document is not clear and i have no idea what a portfolio or category is or does. Do i need them? I just want all my posts to show up on the main page. This is frustrating
