Thank you. The modification you suggested changed the whole page background to black, so I opted instead to add this to the dark-skin.css

/* FEATURED */

#featured{
background: #000;
}

Hey,

In css/dark-skin.css (line 28), change this:

body {
    background: #222222;
    color: #EEEEEE;
}

to this:

body {
    background: #000000;
    color: #EEEEEE;
}

You can use Firebug to help you locate which sections of the theme are controlled by CSS and where to change it.

James

Hi,

I am using the dark-skin.css theme option for Broadscope. I have set the feature area default image to "Display color strip without image". I have set the background color to #000000.

The feature area background color appears as #222222. I especially want #000000 because of the photography I have.

I notice in the demo that the background color of this strip is #000000.

The site is being built at:

http://tipoule.com
